Can I use Trexpense offline?

Yes, Trexpense works offline first. This means, by default, all your information is only stored on your phone. That way, you have complete control of all your data.

Nevertheless, if you wish to store your data in the cloud, you can upload selected trips to the Trexpense Cloud. This enables you to share your expenses with other travellers and access your data on multiple devices.

Can I add multiple countries to my trip?

With Trexpense Pro and with all our subscriptions, you can add as many countries to a trip as needed.

You can then simply switch your current country and add your expenses in this country’s currency.

Can I split expenses between travelers?

With Trexpense Pro and Trexpense Cloud, you can record which traveler paid for what.
At the end of the trip, Trexpense will suggest the best way to split the costs among the travelers.

I have a new smartphone. How can I transfer my trips to the new device?

You have several options to transfer your data to another device.

Create a Backup

With Trexpense, you can create backups that can be restored on other devices.
Select Backup - Create Backup in the menu.

Use Trexpense Cloud

If you have a Trexpense Cloud subscription, you can log in to the new device using the same account.
All your cloud trips will then be immediately available.

To transfer offline trips, you need to convert them to cloud trips first.

Can I invite other people to my trip

Yes, with the “Trexpense Cloud Duo” and “Trexpense Cloud Group” subscriptions you can invite one or more people to your trip. invite. The other person does not need to subscribe as well.

What happens to the cloud trips if my subscription expires?

All your cloud trips will remain available even after your subscription expires.
However, neither you nor your fellow travelers will be able to add any new expenses.

To record additional expenses, you must either convert the trip to an offline trip or renew your subscription.

How can I delete my account?

You can delete your account at any time in the menu “Manage account” chevron_right “Delete account.” All your data will be deleted. Your cloud trips are converted to local trips.

This action cannot be undone.

I want to change my subscription/unsubscribe How can I do that?

You can manage your subscriptions in the menu “Manage account” chevron_right “Manage subscriptions.” You will be redirected to the store (Google Play Store on Android, Apple App Store on iOS).

Why are there no daily updated exchange rates?

Exchange rates fluctuate constantly. However, the daily changes are relatively small. Often, bank fees play a significantly larger role when converting foreign currency to the home currency.

Since we cannot know all bank fees, the conversion rates displayed in the app are an approximation. However, they are helpful for better estimating expenses.

In short: since exchange rates only make up a part of the actual conversion, we forgo daily updated rates in favor of simpler usability.
